It's a bad sign when your PR agency needs some PR.

As we were recently discussing the plight of PR in the comments section of a recent post, I couldn't resist reposting this gem of a terrible and offensive pitch by a now-unemployed PR professional. Gawker did a great job of covering this, front to back.

Gotta love unabashed racism. Unbelievable.

DEAR GOD!

Brain...swelling...sanity...evaporating...

My favorite comment from the Gawker post: "Gosh, people are so PC these days. Relax, it's only racism!"

I would like to give PR a shot. It sounds interesting, like writing fiction.

PR is interesting...i like being able to research new topics based upon the different things i'm pitching.

and trebuchet, i'm ever-so-jealous you're in the tech field...i have a thing for computer nerds. i do PR for books and trust me, there's no available men in this sector of the industry either!

Agreed. Both book nerds and tech geeks tend to have a hard-to-place sex appeal. The trouble is, this thinking seems to have caught on, because these days the single ones are, like, an endangered species.

Ahem.

Ladies, I am 6'3", work out 4 times a week, can fix your computer or other appliances, read books (currently reading Bruce Campbell's If Chins Could Kill), and am generally awesome. Please, ladies, just two at a time.

Apparently, I also have a killer sense of humor.
